Anybody ever seen an English bulldog/boxer mix?
There are some puppies at the shelter that I am thinking of going to see/adopt. What do they look like with this mix? Are they tall or short?

2. Only a human animal can be as ugly as Perle...dogs a cute
not matter their ma/pa! Leave dogs out of the political arena...the can even be taught to love republicans...and you know how difficult that could be? :bouce:

5. I think
They would be adorable - not too tall, kind of stocky. I have a
bull mastiff, a mixture of a bull dog and mastiff and he's an
amazingly wonderful guy. Big but gentle as a kitten. I love boxers
and I love English bull dogs, so I think the combination must be
great. My best friend has two boxers and they are beautiful with
great dispositions. Don't think you could go wrong. Good luck with
your decision. Bet the puppies are so cute.

4. NOOOOOOooooooo
Pearle is fugly. Boxers and bulldogs are cute. I have 2 boxers and have always wanted a bulldog.
Boxers aren't huge dogs mine are about 50 lbs and about knee high on me. Bulldogs are heavier dogs but not near as tall.
God if I were closer I'd be gettin' me one of those pups in a red hot second. Boxers are one of the greatest family dogs.

Purebreed Bulldogs do tend to have a lot of medical type problems but since they're a mix the chances of having many problems are greatly reduced.

3. Medium
They are a very wet mouthed dog and drool a lot, so you'll need a bib:) They are also very hyper and tend to have eccentric personalities, weird but charming & interesting.

This is a just a generalization on my part, having been around them, but you really need to think hard about the type of personality a dog has before you choose to share your life with them.

I'm hunting for a good companion dog myself, so good hunting my friend.

9. its not drool...
drool is saliva

its that their mouths dont close, and they drink with their faces - so they get water in their jowls... it's mostly just water (but it can ruin a good pair of pants if you're not careful - been there)

baby bulldogs look really small - even the runts get pretty big. the puppies arent any more hyper than other dogs - but man when they get to middle age they get lazy. i've never had a better dog.

7. aren't boxers
bred from bulldogs orignally?
so a mix would just be backing things up a step.

8. OK, folks, I was really just having some fun...
after I saw the picture of Perle on DU today, my day definitely got worse. What an ugly puss, sheeesh! The doggies are cool, and I like boxers too. Not much experience with English Bulldogs, but the ones I have known have very friendly. Now, however, if you want to talk about cute, how about a Belgian shepherd/husky mix. I had one of those and they rule.
