Saturday Night Live's Bush impersonators.

Let's see. We had Will Ferrell, who was a great Bush. He had the mannerisms and the speech patterns down pat.

Then we had Chris Parnell, who did a decent Bush, but spoke far too rapidly for the Blunderer-in-Chief. Given a little more time, I'm sure Parnell could have fine-tuned the impersonation.

But Lorne Michaels apparently gave up on Parnell's impression and went to Darrell Hammond, who normally does such extraordinarily accurate impressions. Unfortunately, his Bush is awful. He knows the facial expressions, but he isn't right physically, and the voice just isn't cutting it. Even if Hammond improves the voice, he still won't be right physically.

So here we are, heading into a Presidential election season, and we must assume the number of Bush-related sketches will increase. Who, then, in the SNL cast can take on the role of Bush? Or should they just bring Will Ferrell back in cameos to play the part?

I really want to know. Really, really.

1. I would pay good money to see Farrell play the role!!!

He was beyond good...His Bush is perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Befor 911 and Bush got smart - there was a program on "That's My Bush"

Don't know the guys name - but he looked and acted like Bush.

Will Ferrell would be good if he would come back for cameos, but I don't believe he wants to - does movies now - pay a lot more

3. Timothy Bottoms

Yes, he was a great Bush. Striking physical resemblance.



But, he played Bush in the Showtime movie about 9-11, so perhaps he would be out of the question.
