I'm sending in my scanner thanks to best buy's extended warranty plan

I will get a $150 check back once they see the scanner (HP 4470) has gone bad.

I need to buy DVD+RW blanks to archive my vhs collection.

I aso need a new scanner as my HP 5550 has problems with the auto document feeder, the plastic plate looks foggy toward the egde, and it's an HP for Gawd's sake. Epson's higher rated anyway and their scanners do 3600x6400 DPI, which makes scanning negatives for large blowups a reality (2400x2400 can't do quite as well in terms of detail.)

What should I do?
