I bought my new kittens a scratcher this weekend. I get it home and the instructions on the back read:
"...place the scratcher near your cat's favorite scratching spot and demonstrate its use by crawling on your hands and knees and scratching it like a cat. IMPORTANT: Cats learn by imitation, so, to be effective, your theatrical performance must be convincing."
No, I did not take drama in h-s or college. I don't know how to be theatrical.
No, I did not humiliate myself in front of the babies.
Yes, they are using the scratcher anyway.
