anyone from seattle here? |
|
i've been wanting to visit america for over 8 years now... just so i can go to seattle and check out ole kurt's grave. does anyone here know if there is a gravesite for cobain? and like, is it nice and all? (not to say i'm coming to america anytime soon. with my kind of spending habits and savings, i'll need another 10 years! besides, as i tell anyone who would listen, even if i could, i WONT go to america as long as bush is president.)

3. I don't know if Kurt is buried here... |
|
but I live in the town that Jimi Hendrix is buried in. 20 minutes south of Seattle. Been there a few times...very, very modest grave site I must say. But whenever I go, there are always a couple flowers, maybe a beer or two and sometimes a joint sitting on the stone.

5. Different Kurt here---But Cobain's a contemporary |
|
He came from a town much like mine and suffered from some of the same economic condidtions growing up...
The similarity ends there--but I was a huge fan.
I don't know a thing about where he's buried..,someone will though.
When you get to Seattle, You'll love it..
Cheers

8. That's one of the cool things about Seattle |
|
People who live here, and were big fans (such as myself,) don't know where Kurt's grave is, although I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to find out.
You should enjoy it here when you arrive. Check out the cool neighborhoods of Capitol Hill, Fremont, Ballard and Queen Anne.
