I absolutely freaking HATE cubicle e-mail traffic. |

I just got an e-mail from a co-worker, who sits just over the divide asking me to check on something...on our SHARED hard-drive.
1) It's a shared drive, jackass. Look it up yourself. 2) Feel free to just shout over the divide and ask me, with your vocal cords, for help.

I HATE when someone sends an email saying "can you send a copy of such-and-such document?" when its on the shared drive, and you send them the address to it.

2. I hate it when they send an email and come over to talk about it |
|
'Did you get my email?' 'I just sent you an email'....the damn thing didn't even get through the system yet.
If you can get up and come to my desk to ask the question - why send an email?

3. The only reason I can think of is to have plausible deniability. |

E-mail chain:
Boss to Bill: Accomplish this project.
Bill to Boss: Affirmative.
Bill to Co-worker (cc's boss): Can you pull this document.
Cowoker to Bill (does not cc boss): It's on the shared drive.
Time goes by...
Boss to Bill: Where's that project?
Bill to Boss: Still waiting on Co-worker for that document. I cc'd you, remember? It's all his fault.
Boss to Co-worker: Get off your ass and finish this project.

but I'd reply and tell them where to find the doc. :D
I learned a long time ago to throw it back in their faces, but I know exactly what you're talking about.
