I'll give the nod to the Padres, since they've probably got the most improving to do.

4. They'll be interesting to watch.
Big acquisitions, indeed, but they may have left some big holes elsewhere to make them. Still, Vlad is simply incredible to watch, when healthy.

8. It won't be the Cardinals......
unless someone channels Sandy Koufax into the body of one of these dead arms we picked up this offseason.

It looks like Houston is the team to beat to me.

9. If the Cubs do pick up Pudge, that's gonna be a heavyweight title fight.
