If coffee allowed you to shift back forth through time
in proportion to the amount that you drank, how far back and forward in time would you be able to travel, and would you do it if you could?

(I don't know how many years you can get per cup of coffee, so make up your own scale)

2. For that quad venti nonfat latte
I should at least be able to get as far back as Diocletian's military reforms and as far forward as zipping to work in solar-powered hovercraft.

3. It would still taste like cigarette ashes in hot water.
I'm the aberrant, the guy who never developed a taste for java, even in the allnighter college years. Have worked night shift on and off for years, with Diet Pepsi at the ready. So I suppose the way, way sweetened and milked-up vanilla capucchino I get from the 7-11 once a year when the weather is cold MIGHT propel me to, say, just before I started typing this.

5. I drink coffee only when I am so tired I can't stay awake and need to.
The terrible taste I think is what wakes me not the caffine. I would say I could probably get back to Christmas. Maybe. :)

7. I'd be able to go back to the primordial ooze, and zip forward...
to the apololypse. All that would be before I headed out to work in the morning! mmmmmm....coffee...:donut:
