I'm tired
this world is getting me down. I didn't go to work today because I'm just worn out. Tired of all the bad news.

Got any good news?

1. I found a penny doing laundry earlier.
Highlight of my day thus far.

It was tails-up.

4. good new here
I work with disadvantaged teens. While arguing with one of them, I stated that we could go snowboarding on the next Saturday. "No we can't," he reminded me, "we have the interfaith community revival event that day."
I just looked at him. He always complains that we do too much community service / political work and not enough recreational stuff. And that he hates political stuff.
The revival event is a long political, spiritual event, and I was amazed that this teen wanted to go (I had planned on 'making' him attend). This bode well for our future.

ps. This kid also says that he supports "cinich" (Kucinich) instead of my favorite, Dean.
