I am tired of being so slow

to put my thoughts into words on the screen that by the time I actually hit the 'post' button, either five other people have already said what I wanted to say, or the damned thread has been locked. And they're always such brilliant posts, of course! :D

I can type a good 65 to 75 words per minute, but I guess I just should learn to shoot from the lip a little faster!

I'm so afraid I'll say something stupid or spell something wrong, I re-read and then re-read again. By the time I finish, everyone else has moved on to a new idea, so I mostly just read. Sigh!

I've pretty well accepted the fact that I'll say stupid things, but I do re-read (and re-re-read) for spelling/grammar! It's not like the posts can't be edited, for Pete's Sake!
