I voted for Carol Mosely-Braun

I just voted in the nation's first Presidential Primary (Washington, DC), despite the fact that it is non-binding and meaningless.

I knew that of the major candidates, only Howard Dean was running, but I had expected to be able to write in a choice. Nope - you could only choose from those names on the ballot. So, somewhat to my surprise, I voted for Carol Mosely-Braun.

but I don't think she was a terribly effective Senator. The real irony is that I work for another candidate who was not on the ballot. If I could have, I would have voted for him. But alas...
