1. Zero. I have to walk across the room to turn it off.
I had gotten crafty enough to turn the alarm off in my sleep, so I had to move it across the room.

3. Maybe that's what I need to try, too
I'm notoriously bad at this. My alarm clock even has TWO alarms, in case I turn off the first one and don't wake up. I am DEFINATELY not a morning person, and my wife is worse.

Of course, this won't matter too much for a while, as I'll be unemployed as of this Thursday..... :D

8. I'm telling ya...
we were seperated at birth. I've done the same thing for years for the exact same reason.

It's uncanny. :-)

9. Ha, I had to move mine into the other room and turn it to full blast
to make sure I was really awake before I staggered over to it somnabulistically and hit the snooze button while still asleep.

5. snooze alarms are evil
Wny not just sleep until the last possible minute? What is the point of interrupting good sleep so you can doze off only to be awakened again??

My ex-husband used a snooze alarm. Rude and inconsiderate fellow that he was.....hence the ex.

6. I'm always up before the alarm goes off.
I really don't understand why I even bother setting the alarm in the first place. I'm up at least a half hour before the alarm is to go off.

7. I wake up to Democracy Now with Amy Goodman
Cured me of sleeping through my alarm, which I definitely will do if my alarm is set to wake me up with a buzzer or music. But with Amy Goodman's Democracy Now program (Pacifica Radio) I don't mind waking up. I'm always eager to hear the *truth* first thing in the morning :)

10. I have to get up and turn it off, and it doesn't have a snooze
I would have to reset the alarm to get a snooze, and then set it back later. The time to do that would wake me up. I normally have it set for 6:30 am.

I dare not turn it off and lie down again; I wouldn't wake up again until 8:30 or so.

11. You snooze, you lose
Snooze alarm doesn't help you one bit.

Might even make you groggy during the day.

12. Michael hits it about 45 times.
Ok, I am hugely exagerating...but, that's what it seems like. I jump after the second time--can't stand it.
