A relative of mine is interested in purchasing one, and was asking me. But, I have no idea - any of you know?

1. Check Kelley Blue Book web page at
www.kbb.com

I looked up the pt cruiser a few weeks ago and they start around 18000.

3. They're worth every penny. I have one - it is the best car I've ever owned
Surprisingly roomy inside and in the cargo area. Fun to drive. Comfy. Stylish.

4. Depends where you are too
on the West Coast, a 2002 goes for 12 gs.
New, about 18 and they're dealing; every mom in Seattle has one if they don't need a 4x.

5. Underpowered engine, especially for the prices mentioned
It's got the engine of a cheap Neon, I found out. Cheap neon engine plus a chassis that's much larger than a Neon... underpowered.

$18k for a cheap copy of a 1940s upturned bathtub with an even more antiquated engine should have the word "Sucker" painted on in glow-in-the-dark paint.

It isnt a larger chassis, it is the same chassis as a Dodge Neon.

7. It is a Dodge Neon with a funny body...
and a total ripoff to boot.

Please reconsider another car.
