Is DU totally busted for anyone else?

Slow. Pages not loading. So slow, in fact, that it took me 1/2 an hour to get this question posted. Am I alone here?

18. DT, I think this downtime was unexpected...

From Skinner's post:

We had some unexpected downtime on Tuesday afternoon, and we have been experiencing very poor performance since then. We had no way to anticipate these problems, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Elad has been working hard with our ISP to identify and resolve these issues. Unfortunately, it looks like these problems will not be fixed until sometime Wednesday.

23. DT - Calm down, my friend

MANY of us contribute to DU, if you hadn't noticed. Problems sometimes arise when managing a high-volume website. Thankfully it's a rare occurance here, but it STILL HAPPENS. Unwad your underwear and give it a day.

It'll be business as usual in no time, I'll wager. Skinner DID notify everyone, if you'd bother to read the notifications. I'm sorry that you didn't get a phone call as the rest of us did. I'm sure that was an unintentional oversight.

Seems like it's going around the web today. I've had problems accessing a few sites.

Meanwhile, a bunch of cretins are posting nasty sarcastic Lieberman and freeper threads on GD04. Pretty pathetic, considering what the admins and mods are dealing with now. Just appalling.
