some fairly upsetting news

today i ran into a girl who used to live on my floor. she said she moved out because she got an apartment cheap (same as my old roommate), but her and her fiance were planning on buying a house and then getting married this summer. but now he got deployed to Iraq and was sent off this morning, for a year. and if he's not back in a year she's just going to move to Texas. knowing this girl she'll probably be having nightmares all year about him coming back in a body bag. poor kids having all their plans ruined by oil barons, *sigh*
