Do you have to pay for peer to peer services?

One time when I downloaded regular Kazaa, they said I had to pay a fee or something.

Well, I found this site. If you don't want to pay for Kazaa, it lets you download a different format of Kazaa for free. They have different languages as well.

1. You have to pay for Shareware after it's test period is over.
2. Stay away from the regular Kazaa. Never even consider using it.
3. Except maybe for downloading this one: KaZaA Lite K++
4. Bittorrent and emule; both are are becoming a standard for (legal) downloading pages low on bandwidth.

If I want a CD by a newer artist, I buy it. If I want something obscure, I Kazaa it...mostly because it's difficult to get through normal channels.

If the recording industry hadn't been so stubborn, they'd be making tons of money from this now.
