Something to take the edge off, so I don't have to go cold turkey.

7. I can't believe it. I guess I'm still in the denial stage.

In shock. It was so sudden.

I feel adrift. I could start "my kitty is better than your kitty"
threads here, but what would be the point? I already know I have the
cutest kitty.

I could go into GD and put half the threads on ignore.
That might help scratch the itch. Briefly.

But these are only short term solutions.
Things to get me thru the next minute. Then the minute after that.
One minute at a time.
Baby steps.
Strategies to ease me into the next stage of grief and loss:
acceptance.

Yet acceptance seems so remote now.
But then...it was so very very sudden.
