6. The Rams defense was decent. That Panther game was a doozy though. |
|
Lovie is credited with turning around a defense that was horrible a few years ago. Although they didn't really need a good defense then.

8. If you'll take Mike Martz too... |
|
then Rams fans everywhere will be rejoicing. I think most Rams fans feel that Lovie had a good run here but it was time for him to go.

11. This should be good for the Bears -- |
|
But one never knows. I don't think he's going to be the football equivalent of Dusty Baker, that's for sure.

14. Well, at least this means |
|
he won't have to see Mike Martz every week, looking like Mrs. Doubtfire, inside a dome with a wondbreaker on--ferchristsake--jumping for joy over a missed field goal. Seeing that, I would have resigned from the Rams immediately.

Now, all I really care about is beating the hated, despised, incredibly noxious and slimy Packers.

when you,re America's team, everyone is gunning to get you. The Bears have been thru a couple of decades of rebuilding now, whats another few years? I dont mean to harsh your mellow, but another first year coach means at least 2 less-than mediocre seasons. 4-12, bank it.
PS Brett Favre is in the process of restructuring his contract to free up salaray cap space, he's coming back. Sherman's going after Javon Kearse.
