Hi, I'm Venusrising's husband and a regular thorn in people's side in GD:P. When I am not getting P.O.ed about the state of affairs in this country, I like to play guitar to relax.

Anyways, I made a "special" video of Rush's epic song "Cygnus X-1" and posted it on youtube. The tune features not only me playing the tune, but all sorts of other eyecandy, as well. Venus bought me the new bass a few days ago and I just cannot stop playing it.

Thought I should share it because I'm rather proud of it (the bass, my wife, and this video, that is).

8. Video was great, but in all honesty...

I liked you playing 'Maidens "Can I play with madness" better without a video. I REALLY enjoyed it, and watchin ya play was cool. I take nothing away from rush, its just they have always been...a little light for my taste. As much as I love them, even Iron Maiden is on the light side of my musical preference. :headbang: Keep em comin man. :yourock: Literally!!

9. I understand

playing these songs is a rehash of all of the bands I listened to and tried to emulate. Generally, having a good bass player meant less distorted guitar.

However, my music preference for listening is death metal. I have really been enjoying Arch Enemy as well as Lamb of God, but I also listen to a lot of old school thrash (ca. 1985-1991).
