Lennie Wilkins hired as new Knicks coach
Isaiah Thomas is continuing to shake up the Knicks . . . today he fired Cheney and his assistants and announced that Lennie Wilkins, the winningest coach in NBA history, is signing on as the new head coach . . .

5. From what I hear.. Kobe is unhappy in LA
At least with the Lakers... He already stated once that he'd be gone after this year. From what I glean he wants a team where he is THE guy. And in LA, Shaq is THE guy. Rumor has it he could be traded before the deadline. I've heard his name mentioned with the Knicks and Clippers, but nothing "official" of course.
