4th grader had independence removed! |
|
My daughter explained this last Monday about a classmate who rides her bus.
Seems the girl's stomach started hurting pretty bad on the bus, and she missed the next day of class. Apparently she had to go to the hospital where they removed her independence.
Sometimes children's simple misunderstandings are quite a hoot.
The classmate is back in class today, all is well.

Thanks for sharing!
One of my daughters had horrible bouts of tonsillitis when she was younger. She was four years old when she got up one morning with a really sore throat and told me, "Mommy, I have enchiladas again!" (from raising a child in south Texas)
And another daughter, when she was five, and frustrated because I had forgotten something important to her, said to me, "Mommy! Why do I have to remember you all the time?!?"
These are the times we cherish having made a decision to have children! The times, when they are adolescent, that keep me hanging in there.
