But seriously, is it against the rules of message board etiquette to self-servingly reply to your own OP, simply because it was made late at night, or at some other time when very few people had a chance to see and respond to it? Is that not an issue for those among us who aren't so attention-starved?

The other thing I do sometimes....ask my friends to go and respond in that thread!

Since they are all very good-natured, they normally do that for me...
