Poll question: Have you ever taken stuff out of Lost and Found? (poll)
For years, I've nicked shit out of the Lost and Found box. I wait 3 - 4 months to make sure nobody has claimed it, then shag the item out before they send it to Goodwill. I've never taken anything expensive: the cheap stretchy nylon gloves, an umbrella once, sunglasses (heh - paying it forward I suppose since I lose those regularly myself).

Well, the latest batch of stuff is due to be shipped out again tomorrow and I took a digital camera that was going to be heading out. It is an older model, worth about $50 right now on ebay - max. I clicked through all 8 pictures and there is no way to discover the owner from the pics. They were all taken at a sleigh ride we held at the farm in late January which means the guy probably left it on one of the sleighs that day (these are big events with a lot of people which means tracing the owner of the camera is impossible with such large crowds).

This is by FAR the most expensive item I have ever nicked. What say you DU? Should I return it to the Lost and Found box tomorrow? Or keep it?
