I Don't Have To Wake My Babies Up Tonight -- Woo Hoo!
We went to a "well baby" appointment today (the twins are 9 weeks, 2 days), and got the good news -- after their "midnight" feeding, I can let them SLEEP for anywhere between FOUR AND FIVE HOURS!!!

Woo Hoo! That means I don't have to awaken sleeping babies at 3:30 a.m.!!! If they want to sleep a little longer, that's okay!

We're still going to be doing the "every three hour" thing during the day, but things are looking good -- they are doing great! My daughter weighed 7 lbs, 12 ounces today, and my son was at 8 lbs, 1 ounce! She is 20 inches long, and he is 20-3/4 -- I'm so happy!!!

Oh, and using the "40 weeks" thing, they are now almost twelve days past their due date, AND they officially stopped wearing "preemie" clothes last week.

Her Highness is bellowing, but I had to tell -- wish me luck tonight! :)

6. I want to hold them.
I could just sit and rock an infant all day. Good work, mama! They're beautiful.

7. Good for you!
I hope this means a little more sleep. :)

I am a twin, and we were born 2 1/2 months early. I was the smaller of the two of us and spent my first 6 months in an incubator in the hospital. I always like to hear that premies are doing well, and doing it at home. :)

10. That's great!
They look very healthy. Such fun to have twins! Glad to hear that they are doing so well!!

My son was 5 weeks early and he is 16 days old today. He was 5lbs 12oz when he was born. I'm still in the every 3 hour feedings with him to get his body weight up. I have an appointment on Friday to check him out and I am sure that he is close to 7lbs right now. Many tired nights for me and many more to go!
