some of our relatives had pictures of the pope and JFK in their living rooms.

She's a Catholic who has little respect for popes. John XXIII was okay but before and after... pffft.

They would have pictures of JFK and the Pope and that disturbing painting of Jesus ripping his chest open. One family also had their kids kiss a picture of their dead Grandfather Good Night - every night......
We just had family photos, abstract art and landscapes.......our house always looked more like my Jewish friends' houses
