I forgot 4 things, I remember what to buy after it was to late.

Now I have to wait until morning, I am not going out again today.

I really need to make a list but I never do.

3. Oh, man, I do that all the time!
Which is why MrSG does most of the shopping. Me, I'd go to the store for milk and eggs, forget them both, and come home with magic beans or something!

4. What did you forget?
If it helps, I do it all the time, too. Now I grab a pen before I leave the house and I write it all down.

On the heel of my left hand, so I CAN'T forget the list. Doesn't mean I'll look at it in the store, but...

6. I forgot basic things for cooking, my housemate who is a really good cook
was so pissed off.

I am wondering if I want to go to the 24 hour gay Kroger's to pick up them up.

I could go in my pj's, I would fit right in.

I do like going to this Kroger's, the most interesting people shop early in the morning.

"Queen Soopers" at 9th and Downing and Cheeseman Park are epicenters of gay and lesbian life in Denver (and a Metropolitan Community church, which is gay centered, is just a couple of blocks away).

In Denver kroger goes by the name of King Soopers. This one is known as... and yes it's 24 hour.

10. a little off topic, but this reminds me something that my ex did
He used to drive me CRAZY!! We would get baked and head to the grocery store to get dinner. He did all the cooking and is never happy with what I plan for dinner, so I let him pick out the food. He wandered around the grocery store for about fifteen minutes and we hook back up and his basket is still empty. He tells me, all blurry eyed,"I can't find anything to eat." We are in a grocery store and he can't find anything to eat.....

12. Most of life's annoyances can be explained
by the simple fact that God/Gods are practical jokers and get off on messing with your mind.

He/She/It/They especially enjoy setting you up. I alway make grocery lists. I keep a pad in the kitchen and whenever I think of something, write it down. When I'm at the store, I always cross off the item after I throw it in the cart. However, there is always one thing I overlooked and don't notice until I'm back home. And somewhere Something snickers.

13. even when I make lists, I miss something on the list
I think a lot of it has to do with the store atmosphere. I hate shopping.

I hate that so many other people seem to have absolutely no clue that they are NOT the only people in the store.

I hate that 3 bags of groceries costs me $70.

I hate that people leave their carts all over the parking lot instead of returning them to the cart corrals.

All this unpleasantness makes it tough to concentrate on the job at hand. Which is unfortunate because when you forget something, that means you have to go back to get it.

14. For me, it is always coffee. I always go strictly for coffee...end up
with about 89782 other things, but no coffee. I feel your pain. I make lists. And then leave them on the table.

15. When I make a list, I forget the list, or at least a pen
to cross things off the list. I've stopped shopping with a list.

16. You've had a lot on your mind lately
I remember the things I forgot right after I get home, too. So, I "put" one of each item on a finger to remember, then just assign the item by it's first letter to help me remember the items. If there are more items forgotten than fingers, then, yeah...a list is probably a good idea ;)

Hang in there...you're doing a lot these days.

17. I don't know, but when you figure it out, please tell me
Because I went to the store for granola bars last night and went home without them, but with a lot of other stuff that I hadn't planned to get.
