By 40-something I had long since stopped giving a shit what other people thought was appropriate. At 52 I still have long hair, wear Moroccan clothes with sandals -- even in the winter. I'm convinced it's my calling to drive the fashionistas crazy. :evilgrin:

9. I'm 48 and I got my second ear piercing two months ago, and

want to wear an ear cuff if I can find a pretty silver one. Granted, it isn't that serious a thing, but there's a little rebellion that comes with second piercings.

My problem is that I also want to wear younger clothes. Nothing risque, but certainly not a Talbots style.
