Ever have a perfectly good day turn into one of *those* days?

Cause I just did....sigh. Everything was fine, until I went online to check my parents' bank acct. and to pay my Dad's CC bill (I manage all of my parents' finances for them). The balance was about $1400 too low, and lo and behold, my mother paid the mortgage at the bank yesterday...The same mortgage I paid yesterday morning online! :o

So in a panic, I call my brother, and thank gawd they have plenty of money in savings to cover the missing money tomorrow morning...And, now the mortgage is paid until July, so that's nice, I guess. Still gave me a freaking heart attack though... x(

Then, I go out to do errands...It's hotter than I thought outside, so I was totally overdressed and overheating, traffic was awful, and I get home and take the groceries out of the car, and a bag splits open, spilling my food across the lot... :cry:

I finally made it to my apartment. I'm now exhausted and I have bad cramps. I'm ready to go to bed and start over tomorrow. :(

1. You are probably not paid thru next month on the mtg

they apply it all to principal when you pay extra and then still say you owe the next months regular payment.

7. Pirate's right. They usually DON'T apply it to the next payment.

The documentation often states that in fact. Most banks/lenders require written notification that the $$ are an advance payment.

At least you don't need to worry about it next month. Maybe your not-so-good day is not so bad after all.

at least, that's what it seems like. At work, everybody manages to start breaking shit starting at around noon. Since I'm a lazy-ass bureaucrat, I like to get out of the office by 4:00 on Fridays if at all possible.
