L O S T
Soon.

Here's a rumor I picked up:
Ben dies in the finale along with a few Others, as does Kate and Sayid. Sawyer and most of the Losties blame Jack and Juliet for Kate and Sayid's deaths due to his plan. Jack is forced to go with the surviving Others, and we see Tom by his side as he protects his new leader. From the sky we see images of the island as if from the viewpoint of a coming aircraft. It seems DHARMA has sent someone (or something) to the island and it's not nice.

Also, where in the fuck is the black lady with the white husband. The lady who had cancer and was Locke's sort of compadre? Where are Walt and his dad?

3. Nooooooo
Not Kate & Sayid. Maybe that's a dream or something. I heard that Charlie maybe gone (due to Desmond's premonitions).
I personally think that Walt & Michael are still travelling around the island. Didn't the hatch explosion occur around the same time that he left last season?? If so, the directions that he was given may not work (or something like that). I want to know where Vincent the dog is. I think he has the real healing powers . . .

25. They're not going to kill
Kate. It would be ratings suicide. JMHO. And I'd be royally pissed off if they kill Sayid. He's still one of my two favorite characters - always has been.

And yeah, I miss Vincent too. (There's a whole fandom out there for Vincent. :) )

I don't have any respect for Kate, she is so stupid.

Sawyer is way hotter than Jack, what does she see in him? x(

And Juliet wanted to tell Kate something, what could it be?

:yoiks: Man, that was very intense.... I felt so sick for Sawyer...but at least that particular demon is now gone. And Kate has now screwed things up for any sort of rescue.

Anyone wanna join me in thinking that Kate is now preggers too? According to Locke, the Others are going to descend on them in three days and take the pregnant WOMEN. The only one we know about so far is Sun.

Sawyer when he had Locke pinned to ground. A really strong episode tonight, IMO. Perfect combination of things moving forward and new WTF ground shifting beneath your feet.

2. Hurley and Sawyer realize true wuv for each other.

3. In a hole in the ground, there was a Charlie.

4. Jin tries to bend space and time, but still can't save mystery sock.

5. Dharma foodstuff is people.

18. My last bit of info for the night
Edited on Wed May-02-07 10:36 PM by graywarrior
Josh Holloway and Terry O'Quinn knock this episode out of the park. But Holloway claims shooting its emotionally-draining scenes took a toll. "Dude, it was intense filming that s---," he says. "It wore me out." Still, the two actors — who are good buds off-screen — relished the rare opportunity to work together. Will they do more of it in the future? Holloway's not saying, though he does let this slip: "What happens with them, it f--ks Sawyer up pretty bad. It makes him colder and more distant." That can't be good news for his relationship with Kate.

21. Two tremendous actors
I couldn't believe how powerful that scene with Sawyer and Cooper was.

And my curiosity is peaking. Could Locke and Sawyer be brothers? Cooper said "I didn't raise no dummies" - plural.
And they both called Ben bug-eyed.

24. Sawyer was a 9 or 10 year old
When Cooper pulled the con that caused the murder/suicide, so the time is not right. Unless Sawyer's mother had an affair with Cooper 10 years earlier.

The time and space thing is topsy turvy in this show anyway, so I wouldn't count anything out.

It may be just the writers sending the audience on a wild goose chase. Who knows. It is such an awesome show, with so much to unravel.

Edited on Thu May-03-07 07:29 AM by MilesColtrane
Just as with other shows of this type (X Files comes to mind) the minute anything is explained the show's over.

I think the writers pitched a pilot and had maybe a season's worth of story arc conceptualized. Once it was picked up and the ratings came in they realized that this could go on for awhile.

They also realized that there must always be more questions than answers or nobody will bother tuning in to next week's installment.

That said, I do watch it, but at least I've resigned myself to the fact that there will never be a satisfactory ending for it.

36. From what I've read, they always had a multi-season story arc in mind with this
show (and I first read that in season one). They always intended to end it after a specific number of episodes and there will be an actual ending. They've tweaked story lines along the way (like the stupid couple they introduced and then killed off a few weeks back) but the overall story has supposedly been in place for some time.

28. It doesn't bother me, but there is a certain netiquette protocol concerning spoilers.
The original post should have clearly stated that it contained spoilers and had blank spoiler space.

Any posts to the thread which contained spoilers should also have had a spoiler space.
I thought this was widely known. Guess not.

he told her that if Bernard asks about it she's to pretend she knows nothing. I was sort of glad for the reference because I was wondering wtf happened to those two. Is he not the only surviving tail-y?

And in one of the episodes when Jack, Kate, and Sawyer were being held captive, I'm pretty sure we were supposed to gather that a couple of the kids that had been snatched from the Tailies early on were at the encampment too.

instead we had that side trip into that other couple that got buried alive.

And.. if Alex is the daughter of the French woman, then Ben cannot be her dad. Remember, it was the French lady who captured Ben in the first place and brought it to the campers.
