So who should I invite over to dinner
Edited on Wed May-02-07 09:24 PM by u4ic
now that I have the magic bowl?

edit: please read the inscription...

I found this at Goodwill today. I love browsing second hand stores...it isn't particularly my style, but for $2.99 I thought it would be quite the conversation piece...

I'm pretty handy around the house -- do my own cleaning (with some help from the kids), cooking, and baking. Back before kids, my buddies used to ask me if I had a maid because I kept my apartment neat (not freakishly so, but better than their places). It seemed to impress the heck out of my girlfriends over the years, too. Now my house has a "lived in" look, but it's still neat -- or as neat as a house with kids can be.

Ha! I bought the bowl for the inscription rather than the design.

Turns out it is a legitimate term...and here I thought the term 'unbreakable' got lost in translation. Oh well.

Mrs E and I haunt the thrift stores around town; The Goodwill Stores on the South Side and the new one in the West End are goldmines for china and old radios:D

I was at the south side one; I'll have to check out the west end store, too!

They didn't have much for clothes (great if I needed a 1990's costume), but housewares and knick knacks were aplenty. :hi:

But I expect she's going to get it soon; it's going around her office, too. The Noro-virus has really been bad up here this year and it's overflowing the ER's of the hospitals and Medi-Centres, so I don't think it'll be going away anytime soon. If we can get this out of the way before we go on our roadtrip in a few weeks, I'll take it...

Dang, would that not be a blast, to meet up in Victoria! :woohoo:
