Cat lineage--Have any of you been privileged to be the human |
|
companions of a line of cats?
For instance,
"I had a cat named Snowball in 1955, my cat Fluff I have now is her great-great-umpteenth-great-granddaughter."
I have not been so privileged. Any of you?

2. I am so blessed. But it's not pedigrees, although they are beautiful |
|
Most are only cousins.
We had Patches, who had Toby, Petey, Clay, and Scout. All fixed before they could breed. We think the daddy was our Daddy, a stray whom we adopted. (That's why he's named Daddy.) Of course, he's fixed.
Patches also had (don't know when) Ringtail the Wily, who so far won't be trapped. She had Charley Girl (fixed), Moosey (fixed), Smudge and Skittles.
Patches conceived again, but died in birthing that litter. Two kittens survived and the humane society raised them.
Smudge had a litter last year, and all were adopted. Smudge was then spayed.
Skittles had a litter on April 6. :) She will soon be spayed, and her kittens will be fixed before they're adopted.
Now, back to Ringtail the Wiley. She had Mildred (fixed), Princess (fixed), Toonces (fixed) and Popsicle (fixed).
There have been other ferals, but somehow they've gone away. Bobby is one. :(
The fathers of these litters have been Domino (still a tom), Big Charley (fixed), and our boy Daddy (fixed).
Now, this is all I can think of.
