What do your last 24 hours look like?
I have 19 posts in GD and 13 in the lounge. A whole 12 replies. Four hours ago it was 14-7 lounge, but I have been hanging out in GD for the last half hour.

So far nobody there has mentioned that Yahoo news said Giuliani was the big winner of the Republican debate.

3. wildhorses--That's far from pathetic
Sounds like paradise to me. (Especially the deer part). I spend most of yesterday in the bathroom with a stomach virus. On the upside, I did get to finish that novel I've been meaning to get to.

18. I thought unemployment was great
it was like a long paid vacation, and I had not had many of those. I was not even worried about my money running out before I found a job, because I figured that I could move back up north and get my temp job back if I had to, and I was optimistic about substitute teaching jobs in the fall. As it turned out though, I did not get any substitute teaching jobs. Now my SiL is getting lots of them, so I wonder if I was in the wrong school districts, or what.

9. I've been in the cooler...
I almost made a clean getaway... But, they spotted me hiding in the Religion & Theology Forum where
I was cleverly disguised as a Methodist. (Aside: Maybe I should have gone as a Unitarian?)

One shot with a tranquilizer gun and here I am back in the Lounge.

*rubs buttock*

Next time I'll take Steven's suggestion and try tunneling. :)

11. Nothing like Jack Bauer's, that's for sure.
9:00-12:00 Working like a maniac to get all my projects done before the lunchtime deadline.

12:00-1:00 Lunch at L. Woods. Incidentally, if you've seen Ocean's 12, L. Woods was the clubby/retro restaurant they were in near the beginning. Although in the movie it was supposed to be in Las Vegas or something. It's not. It's in Lincolnwood, IL.

1:00-6:00 Trying to catch up on the work I ignored for all the "emergency" projects. Not feeling so motivated though so I spend some time on DU.

6:00-8:30 Commuting home. Making dinner. Eating dinner (yummy homemade flatbread with chicken, tomatoes, goat cheese and asparagus). Watching Earl and The Office. Cleaning up dinner dishes.

8:30-9:15 Checking out modular homes online. We're in love with the MKD Breezehouse but they don't make it in Illinois. Natch. I'd have to move to a much cooler place (California, Oregon, Washington), which I'd do in a heartbeat but my husband doesn't want to do. Maybe this house will help convince him. Probably not though.

9:15-10:45 At the gym. Today is the first day I can fully stretch again after gardening last weekend and really straining my hamstrings.

10:45-1:00 Looking at more modular houses online. Emailing my brother and two friends, which I've been meaning to do for days. Getting ready for bed. Trying to finish I Heart Huckabees but getting too tired (we're both enjoying the movie though, don't know why it got so panned). Going to bed. Too late, as usual.

7:30 Alarm going off and subsequently getting turned off.

8:10-9:15 Getting up, making breakfast, taking a shower, getting dressed, commuting. Thank goodness I only live 15 minutes from work.
