John Adams cannot win (pt. II)
John Adams cannot beat Bush. He's from the Northeast. He's angry. He's arrogant. He's too short. He named an innocent child Quincy. He's too slow on his feet when anyone attacks him. He's been dead for almost 2 centuries.

1. Plus
He wasn't a lifelong Federalist. In fact, he used to be a British subject! I don't want any recent converts to Federalism.

2. If you think you're beaten, you are
Please stop saying John Addams cannot win. What if he's the nominee?

If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don’t.
If you’d like to win, but think you can’t,
It’s almost a cinch you won’t.
If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost,
For out in the world we find
Success begins with a fellow’s will;
It’s all in the state of mind.

If you think you’re outclassed, you are;
You’ve got to think high to rise.
You’ve got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.
Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the one who thinks he can.

WALTER D. WINTLE, “The Man Who Thinks He Can.”

Of course, it's hard to "think you can" if you're dead, so I may have to concede that you have point here...

3. Verily, our goose is cooked
Unless we nominate a tried and true REAL Democrat like Thomas Jefferson.

4. Besides, when Adams actually WAS preisdent...
He was almost as bad as Smirk!

(Look up the "Alien and Sedition Act," that Adams used so gleefully, and how he kept provoking England to go to war again.)

5. AND he defended the British soldiers who shot innocent Americans
during the Boston Massacre! Is this the kind of man we want as our president, that defends our oppressors?
