Tomorrow, I am building a deck, with my wife helping me.
We, ummm, to put it mildly, do not work well together.
She will have access to saw blades and other power tools to use on me when she inevitably gets angry.
Please wish me luck.

The hard work is done...I have been framing it by myself for the past 2 weeks in my spare time, Now its time for the composite material deck boards. They are wicked heavy, so i need my wife to lend a hand. Hope you have a nice weekend.

I will be serious here for a moment. The reason we do not work well together on these types of projects is because she has an irrational fear of power saws. See, nobody in her family was very handy while she was growing up, so she was never really exposed to power tools. She literally runs from them.
i try to tell her that I have been using them for over 40 years and have not so much as nicked myself (knock wood), but to no avail.
Things will be fine as long as I reassure her and keep her well away from the saws when they are running.

Good idea...I will do that!
It will be relatively small, only about 10 X 12 feet, but I will be proud of our work.
