I just drove my daughter and her friend to their school dance.
they're almost 13 and they never-ever stop talking. I really wish i could have a beer but i have to pick them up.

"Omg he is so foul" "Oh i know, that shirt, time for someone to call Queer Eye" "Seriously" Every time either one said "OMG" in mind i finished that off with "Becky, she looks like a total prostitute".

So i faded my speakers to the front and turned them up and went to my happy place.

8. My 16 yr old has taken to saying "LOL" phonetically
She says "Oh dear, Michaela's fake nail broke off today when she was picking a scab, lawl."

I have to admit complicity to this abomination. :P

13. That was in fact the inagural sentence
Although I may have spelled Mikaleia: Michelaea, Mikleiahiah wrong. :eyes:

She *is* my kid so the snark potential is pretty much inevitable. Did you ever see this? :D

10. My son is 12 1/2 and I took him to get a bithday present for a friend,
and dropped him off at the birthday party at Pizza Guys.
Either he has a bit of an allergy (never had one before), or his voice is starting to crack :). He's still a pretty affable person , and I hope he doesn't think teenagers have to be "all emo(?)" and full of angst. :silly:

12. You think that's bad, wait until they get to high school and every other word is "fuck" or "fucking"
Seriously. I'm not a prude, but some people need to fucking expand their fucking vocabulary for fuck's sake.

16. LOL! I'm on the other side of that fence, gf.
I've got a 13 yr old boy and the most I get from him is grunts or embarrassed silence, especially when it comes to talking about girls his age. :D Funny...

:hi: Here, have a cyber beer, on me. Hell, I'll join ya! :toast:
