I live in such a weird nation
I was at the grocery store today. One fo the employees had been tasked with pulling all the current edition US magazines off the shelves. They’re all being recalled. On one of the pages there is a picture of some presumably-famous guy who is nude for whatever reason. Anyway, the pic is from the side, he is running/climbing - some activity involving having his left leg raised. The sharp-eyed who look closely will notice that part of a testicle is visibly dangling. For this, the entire run of this mag will be pulled, reprinted, and redistributed.

On their own, I’d bet 40-50 of the million or so people who would buy this magazine would notice. :eyes:

On the way home I saw a young woman dressed as the Statue of Liberty standing on the side of the road. She was being a visible prop for the income tax processing store located near by. She looked really bored.

1. Weird nation indeed --
when DID you move to Iraq?

I'm glad things like that can't happen in the US.

4. Yep, glad to see we have our priorities in perspective****
Sheesh.....what an unbelievable waste of paper and time.

I was hoping the Statue of Liberty gal was going to be a protester.

Instead Lady Liberty is now selling insurance.....I guess you can buy just about anyone in this country these days :)

5. Colorado's a weird nation?
I have a relative in Colorado, and she says not only that Colorado isn't weird, but that it's not its own nation, but rather part of the United States!
