Everyone backed out on me tomorrow

I invited my sister and my son to Sunday dinner. I was going to make a pot roast. Neither one of them is coming. My sis is coming up for a bbq at my mom's next weekend and she doesn't want to drive this weekend. My son decided he wants to spend tomorrow w/ his girlfriend.

I thought at least the pot roast would have been enticing....

I'm sorry. I empathize completely. It's a very quiet - boring - weekend for me, too. Fortunately, I'm re-reading Shogun for the umpteenth time. I never get tired of that book. Alas, that it's only 1,200 pages. I have to make it last.

Long as you balance it out with some moderate exercise tomorrow. I'm hoping to go play some disc golf tomorrow if it's not too stormy. We've had electrical storms the last three days. Ugh. Stuck indoors.

You've made sure that my mom gets a much longer hug tomorrow than she would have if you didn't remind me of what she used to do when I lived a couple of hours away. Every single Friday she'd leave the menu for the weekend on my answering machine to make it that much harder for me to stay away.
