I'm a little bit greener than I used to be
Albertson's now has reusable canvas (polypropylene, actually) grocery bags, so I picked up a few. :)

4. Yup
It'll be cool bein' in the store and people lookin' at me like, "Goddamned hippie." :bounce:

But when I take 'em to the check-out, how are they gonna know I didn't just get 'em off the rack and cut off the tags?

5. Hahahahahaha!
I don't have that problem here, because my "green" grocery bags were bought in Key West and don't look like the most common reusable grocery bags here. :7

SAVE YOUR RECEIPT, ya dang hippie!

7. Nah, I think I'll just wrinkle 'em up
Maybe pour ketchup on 'em and drag 'em through the dirt a couple times. :7

6. Well, it seemed like
the lib'rul thing to do. :patriot:

I think maybe I'll keep a couple in my truck for when I go to other stores, too.

8. I don't usually shop Albertson's, but I think I'll check one out to see
if I can get some of those bags.

Plus, I want to switch to those energy-saver lights.

Yikes, I'm REALLY becoming a liberal! :patriot:

9. CFLs?
Or, as I call 'em, swirlie cones? :D

One caveat: They're taller than incandescent lamps, so they may not fit in all your fixtures unless you get a lower wattage. And the ones that say they're the equivalent of a 60-watt incandescent lamp — I think they're more like a 40.

The 100s rock, but they're the ones that don't fit in everything.

10. Yup, them's the ones.
Thanks for the info. I'll check into them. I do have several fixtures where I know they'd work, 'specially the 100 watt ones and the 60 watt ones.

I agree: they look like swirlie cones! B-)

13. Hey — no harm, no foul
That reminds me, too — I need to do a screencap of Graham Chapman turning over the sign so it says "He's Right You Know" in "The Audit" sketch in Episode 7. :7

You can see the sign in the upper right-hand corner of this pic. The side showing reads, "There's No Place for Sentiment in Big Business."

You'd think there'd be some way I could make a few bucks off all this stuff in my head, huh?

23. And *seriously* cheap!
Plus it helps to keep my bags separate when shopping with friends & family. No more digging in the bags to figure out which is mine when we get home.

I'll let you know after I rub one against my bum. :D
