13. I've been well, thanks
It's been a busy spring, with too many trips and too many things to do to get my daughter ready to graduate. At least the time goes by fast!

Hope all has been well with you!

7. lizziegrace you scallywag!
that's great news!

My weekend was kinda lonely. Saturday, I didn't do much of anything. I didn't even get dressed.

Yesterday, I was very productive. Changed my bed linens, cleaned my bedroom, did all the laundry, cleaned my car, did all sorts of dishes, cooked a pot roast....

I know how lonely you are. I don't have any suggestions except to keep busy, volunteer, or whatever to occupy your mind.

On edit, know that many of us are walking the same path right now. I stumbled upon this situation from volunteering with an organization. Don't know exactly when things changed, I just know they did.

Hang in there.

8. Exhausting but enjoyable
The only time I left the house was to go to the grocery store and the hardware store. I did housework, repairs, gardening, beer brewing, etc.

11. Hi, lizziegrace!
Really a very average weekend, though the weather couldn't have been better. I wouldn't mind having it be 70, sunny, and with low humidity throughout the year - even though it would get boring. Next weekend is the real action - my birthday is Saturday and I'm going out for a nice dinner with family. :hi:

I'll take 70 and sunny any day. It's beautiful in the midwest this time of year.

Your birthday sounds like fun. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

14. That's Wonderful! I hope you have many more.

I had lunch with a DUer, InfoManiac, and then we hung out and saw a movie. "The Lives of Others."

The last time I sat in a theater was to see "An Inconvenient Truth," and I can't remember the time before that. I rarely go see movies. This one was definitely worth seeing.

I haven't seen a movie in the theater in ages. The last one I saw was "An Inconvenient Truth" as well.

Lelapin is coming home this weekend for Mother's Day. That should be fun. :)

22. I miss the mountains
We used to go to Boone and Asheville a lot when we lived in SC.

Don't be jealous. ;) This is just for here and now. He wants kids and even if I did, I nearly died when Lelapin was born. Too high-risk.

My nephew was in Kansas storm chasing this past weekend. He didn't see the F5 that leveled that town but saw 4-5 other tornadoes. Y'all have some nasty weather out that way.

39. Nice...
My 94 Accord is not up to Honda standards. I had to put a new transmission in it last fall. It only had 150k on it. Since I've sunk so much money into it, I'll drive it into the ground.

I do have to find a used car for my daughter Lelapin for school. One car in a metropolitan area with over a million people doesn't work.
