7. It is in New Mexico.

Besides all the natural beauty, it is home to the archaeological remains of the ancestral Pueblo peoples. In addition, if I recall correctly, something like 70% of the total acreage is designated for hiking and no-impact camping.

It is truly a wonderful place to be.
