1. GD is a curious world

I post on occasion there, but mostly just read. And with mixed reactions.

I find A LOT of extremely intelligent and well thought out and sourced posts over there. And I don't mind saying that while I am fairly well aware, and personally put a lot of personal effort into the last 2 elections, (for Gore and Kerry) there are a LOT of people far more intelligent and learned than I am when it comes to politics. And I continue to read with interest for additional tidbits of wisdom. (And frankly, I lost touch with everything politics after the last election, just out of sheer trauma and disillusionment that no matter what, the bullys are going to steal elections they cannot win outright.)

On the other hand, I see such absolute ignorance with some topics, and it makes me realize why Democrats look so damned foolish to conservatives. And now I can understand why we cannot win some of these smaller battles, much less the bigger ones. I won't go into detail here, but there is some really stupid shit over there.
