I've officially turned into my dad.

I have been working on our back yard for the last several weeks, whenever I have time & it's not raining. Removing rocks from the topsoil & preparing for a new landscape I'm going to put in.

But there is a new addition this year to my yard work - I now wear a big-ass straw sombrero because the sun is getting so strong - so I'm out there in my shorts, white t-shirt and big straw hat. I'm officially my dad, minus the bourbon & seven (never developed a taste for spirits).

I have become so obsessive about the proper way to load a dishwasher, fold socks and making sure that I don't break the bindings on my books when I read that my mom says I have become my step-dad...the man I spent my teen years quietly despising for his goofy obsessions...even worse...I'm a chick!

I work at home. My Dad did the black socks because he didn't have to change them after work that way.

The only three things he cooked were 1. meatloaf, 2. barbecue. 3. pancakes, from mix on sunday mornings...


I cook all kinds o crap. (Otherwise it would be wall to wall Japanese food, and I'd get sick of it.)
