Clown Charged With Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence
Edited on Fri May-11-07 08:06 AM by matcom
<snip>

Waukesha - The attorney for a professional clown facing 32 criminal counts accusing him of sexual assault and domestic violence questioned Thursday whether his client is facing a more intense prosecution because of allegations made against him in the past.

Buy a link hereRonald E. Schroeder, who was a suspect in the unresolved 1991 death of his young daughter and was questioned about injuries to another daughter in 2005, appears to be facing an abnormally high number of charges for a person who has never been convicted of a crime, attorney Scott Schmidklofer said.

"Maybe this case is being prosecuted more vigorously than it otherwise would," Schmidklofer told reporters after Schroeder made a brief appearance Thursday afternoon in Waukesha County Circuit Court.

Asked why he suspected Schroeder was being aggressively prosecuted, Schmidklofer said, "The record speaks for itself about what people did to him in the past."

Schmidklofer said he and his client were looking forward to a May 18 preliminary hearing to test the allegations in the case.

Schmidklofer declined to answer questions concerning Schroeder's roles as Silly the Clown and Mr. Silly, saying: "I don't have any knowledge of him being a clown. It has never come up in the five to six years that we have represented him."

Schmidklofer insisted that Schroeder never mentioned being a clown, then added, "That doesn't mean he hasn't been a clown."

8. Try watching the movie "Mr Jingles"
*shudder*

It's about a serial killer that dresses up as a clown to go on his murder sprees.

It was AWFUL! Stupid, yet gory, and made on about a $200 movie budget. Terrible movie.

I lost my movie picking privileges for weeks because of it. :(
