Man, my gaydar sucks.

She's been with her partner for 35 years now. (!!!!) That's wonderful. Jebus, if I had know that back in the days of "Laugh-In", I might have come out a lot sooner.

She was my absolute favorite on Laugh-In. I also had her LP, back in the "old days" of vinyl. Ernestine, the phone operator was my favorite:

I knew this instinctively when I was a small kid. I also knew my cousin was gay when we were kids, years before she came out to the family.

isn't that the name of the movie with her and John Travolta?? I remember when that came out all the buzz was about how two of Hollywood's biggest gay stars at the time were in a love story that no one was finding believable.

Lily's been out for a very long time, in fact she never really made a point of trying to hide. She was always just very low key about her relationship with per partner.
