I was feeling a bit nostalgic this evening so I decided to haul out some old LP's from the basement. Among many old favourites was Cheap Trick Live At Budokan from 1979 (I was 18). I still have an old DUAL turntable which I hooked up and am listening to as I type. Holy fuck! The memories! Next up is Boston's first album, then Running On Empty by Jackson Browne. I have over 400 vinyl albums to go through so it might be a busy weekend.
Two questions though.........
The stylus on the turntable may need replacing. Can you still buy those things?
Is it just me, or does vinyl have a richer and warmer sound than digital audio? It's just sounding so much better than my CD player.
