I agree. I always thought that was a pretty stupid sentiment.
:argh:

2. It is an open invitation
to print up a bunch of smaller stickers to replace the word "power" with "sin." ;-)

3. I was given one of those stickers once when I gassed up at
Mobil. I had no idea what it meant, and I tossed it.

And I no longer buy gas at Mobil.

7. Christians once considered it the deadliest of the Seven Deadly Sins.
It was the root of all sins. It made people think they were better than others, which caused all wars, all wicked desires, all crimes.

I don't know when it became a virtue. Has something to do with capitalism, I believe. Capitalists tried to link work productivity to religious virtue by claiming workers should have pride in their work. 16th, 17th century, I would guess.

Now it's just a way to tout one's own arrogance. It's a more polite way to utter the famous "Risky Business" dictum--sometimes you just gotta say, 'What the fuck?'

8. What color was it?
If it was rainbow it may have been LGBT pride.

If it was two colors it may have been for a college or high school sports team that uses those colors.
