1. i think it's fairly obvious

that nathan is a Republican.

a) he's not in congress, and all NYC pols are Democrats.
b) he's not ahead in the polls, which is where a Democrat would be in NYC.
c) he wants to destroy the city in order to save it, much like the GOP thought process.

2. A few funny things about Heroes

1. a secret organization wants a disaster to bring the nation around to their cause (PNAC)
2. The kid is going to fix the vote so Nathan Patrelli wins in a landslide (computer voting)(trust me on this one)
