I can't go anywhere. ever.
I lost my car keys.
:banghead:

Also: making curtains with a hot glue gun is not a "good" idea.

2. I need to create!!!!1!
I'm redoing my front entryway/mud room. It's like a sickness; I can't leave it alone until it's *right*.

4. just put one foot in front of the other
"The journey of a thousand miles, begins with a single step."

Yeah, but you can get further with a good bicycle. My legs may be skinny, but they have 25,000 miles on them.

Then again, I think I have gone over 300,000 miles by car.

7. It's freezing out and I'd have to haul the kids.
Translation: I can't carry all the stuff I need to pick up, with JackMN in tow.

9. it does have its drawbacks
I am always considered a potential thief because I carry a backpack to carry the stuff I cannot put in the car I do not have (except when I rent one)

6. I keep a little dish on my dresser

And that's the ONLY place I put my car keys. It's taken years to train myself to do that but I would lose them twice a week if I didn't.

I also have a keychain that my son gave me - it clips onto my belt loop. I am now in the habit of tapping my hip when I get out of the car - if I hear the keys jingle, I can lock the door.

I'm a space cadet, big time, so I relate. :P

10. I Had This Same Thought
when my purse got stolen along with my driver's license. I called to get another one and they told me I would need a government-issued picture ID. But my government-issued picture ID was STOILEN. Well, that's all we can accept, a government-issued picture ID. Am I the only person who ever had a driver's license stolen? Sorry, all we can take is a government-issued picture ID. Thankfully, I called around and got somebody more reasonable. So I decided I needed a passport. Do NOT get me started.... Sorry, your original birth certificate issued and stamped at the hospital you were born in isn't proof of citizenship. I'm thinking of hunting around for some would be terrorists. They could make me a fake passport easier than I am getting one through the State Department.
