memories
I cleaned out my jewelery box....its where I shoved everything.... I found love letters, tear.
Rave flyers and drawings of tattoos...old piercings....tickets.... and a letter from my dad to me when I was eight. I didn't think it would be this hard. But the dresser is now clean.

3. Memories
Mem'ries,
Light the corners of my mind
Misty water-colored memories
Of the way we were
Scattered pictures,
Of the smiles we left behind
Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were
Can it be that it was all so simple then?
Or has time re-written every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again
Tell me, would we? Could we?
Mem'ries, may be beautiful and yet
What's too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget
So it's the laughter
We will remember
Whenever we remember...
The way we were...
The way we were...

7. Memories, they can't be bought
Going through old stuff frequently brings tears to my eyes but sometimes I just can't help myself

8. i have all kinds of little things, all kinds of memories tucked away in various places.
i can never let go of them, so junk accumulates.
every little scrap, something stupid, something insignificant, still feels like it has meaning...
things you forgot, things you want to forget...
i can't let go of memories so easily, but it's not so bad when the future feels like there's something there.

11. You are better off
cleaning out the old SHITTY JUNK instead of keeping it around for memory's sake. I know I always find stuff when I'm on a cleansing tear and think to myself why did I keep this GARBAGE for goodness sake?

12. I just recently did that
with the left over love letters from my ex. Felt really good. Kept one pic, but that is only because it is a really good pic of me, lol. Leos!

Mayhaps I can crop her out.
