Why does it always rain right after I mop? What is that about?

And wet dog = stinky house!

Get some of those astronaut diapers
If they're good enough for NASA and the astronauts, they're good enough for your pooches.

3. Take them out one at a time with an umbrella.
Put little booties on their feet. and then take them off as you enter the house.

4. I wish it were that simple!! Really, my dogs are loony!
If one goes out, they all have to go out! They just want to go out because I put the doggie door down so they can't. They are too spoiled!

5. We used to ask ours if she wanted a bath.
She would go hide.

8. The questions "take a bath?" or "cut your claws?" will send mine into hiding
he hates taking baths or me cutting his claws, even though no one ever cut into his quick.

15. "all" of them...?
How many are we talkin' about here? I'll admit to having visions of small, muddy buffalo stampeding over you as they rush back inside in a wet, muddy whirlwind... :D :hi:

90 lbs. of clumsy duffus dog! And the 50 lb.er will take off and jump on my bed. He hates being towel dried. The small one refuses to be wet. She is sooo above that! She'll just find a nice spot on the floor to go! ;)

21. The last shot is classic...enjoying the sun
while making sure noone is getting anything out of the fridge without their knowing about it. Cute pups :toast: judging from the size of their feet I can see why you would have concerns about mud, though. From the looks of that doorway setup, this is definitely doable...gonna' require some towels and at least one other person to control the "traffic flow", though.

23. Yep...that's about right. The floor was probably
cooler at the time. Or not. Who knows what they're thinkin' sometimes. All I know is that when we brought Talley home (a rescue from the pound) she wouldn't eat the dry food so my wife heated some chicken broth and poured it over the dry stuff, then fried an egg (over-easy) to top it all off. The dog is mistress of the house... :D

7. same with washing the car -- however -- i don't get the same satisfaction
of getting even when i wash my car.

so if i wash the dog and it rains -- i still have the small satisfaction of some smugness.

moderated by a little rain.

It also happens when I wear white! Why is that?

13. my old girl was so trained before we had a dog door
if her feet were wet, she'd hit the floor so we could dry her (and the feet) off all winter

to this day, she hates her feet wet and she'll lay in the laundry room and clean them off before she comes the rest of the way into the house

she's too darned smart to be happy poor thing

the other two merrily track up the floors and shake all over the dining room :banghead:

14. Sounds like we have the same dogs!
My oldest little girl started out in an apartment and had a great time schedule! My other 2 are so used to going as they please, they are kind of out of whack! My oldest won't go out if it is raining! She is above getting wet!
